Palmistry has no demonstrated predictive validity. It is not a science, it has never been shown to predict anything about a person's future, and nothing in your reading is a statement of fact about what will happen to you.
We sell Palm & Line readings as entertainment, and that is the only basis on which you may buy one. Enjoy it as you would a well-written horoscope: as something to think with, not something to act on. Please do not make any decision that matters — about your health, your money, your relationships, your work or anything else — because of what a reading says.
You must be 18 or over to use this service.
Who you are contracting with
Palm & Line is operated by YairTech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. When you buy a reading, your contract is with YairTech Ltd. You can reach us at hello@yairtech.co.uk.
By using the site or buying a reading you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
What a reading is — and is not
You send us a photograph of your palm. Software examines what is visible in it and writes you a personal piece of prose based on the traditions of palmistry. It is individual to your photograph, and it is written to be enjoyable and thought-provoking.
A reading is not:
- medical advice or a health assessment. We make no claims about your health, any illness or condition, your fertility, your lifespan or your mortality, and we will not produce readings that do. If you have a health concern, speak to a doctor.
- financial advice. Nothing in a reading is a recommendation to invest, spend, borrow, or make any financial decision. If you need financial advice, speak to an FCA-regulated adviser.
- legal advice, or advice of any other professional kind.
- a prediction. Forward-looking sections — including the twelve-month outlook in The Year Ahead — are written as themes and moods to enjoy, not as forecasts of events.
We also do not write readings about other people. Send us a photograph of your own hand, with the consent of whoever is in the picture if that is somehow not you.
Prices

All prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay — there is no subscription, no recurring charge, and nothing is added at checkout. Word counts are approximate. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Delivery
Your reading is generated as soon as your payment is confirmed, and it is usually ready within a few minutes. You get:
- a private link to your reading, which does not expire;
- a PDF you can download and keep;
- an email containing both.
The link is the way back to your reading, so keep the email. Anyone who has the link can read it, so treat it as private. If the email does not arrive, or you lose the link, email us and we will send it again.
Refunds and your consumer rights
We would rather refund you than argue. If something has gone wrong, email hello@yairtech.co.uk within 14 days and tell us what happened.
The legal position. A palm reading is digital content, made individually for you. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase — but that right is lost for digital content once delivery has begun with your express consent. Because your reading is generated immediately on payment, when you complete checkout you are asking us to start straight away and acknowledging that you lose the automatic 14-day right to cancel once it has been produced.
That does not take away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your reading must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and if it is not you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund.
What we actually do. We will refund you in full, no argument, if:
- we could not produce a reading at all — for example the photograph does not clearly show an open human palm. We will ask you for a better photo first if you would like, and refund you if you would rather not bother;
- you were charged more than once, or charged for a reading you did not receive;
- what you received does not match the package you paid for — the wrong length, the wrong number of hands, missing sections;
- you paid within the last 14 days, have not yet opened your reading, and have changed your mind. We would rather have a happy non-customer than a chargeback.
What we will not usually refund is a complete, correctly delivered reading that you have read and simply disagree with. Palmistry is not accurate, we say so throughout, and "the reading was wrong about me" is not a fault in the product — it is the nature of the thing you bought. If you feel strongly, still email us; we read every message.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, normally within five to ten working days.
Using the service properly
Please do not:
- upload anything that is not a photograph of a human hand, or anything unlawful, obscene, or belonging to someone else;
- create multiple accounts to farm free readings, or automate access to the site;
- resell, republish or present our readings as your own, or as the output of a genuine predictive service;
- attempt to break, overload or probe the service.
We may refuse or cancel an order, and close an account, where these terms are broken. If we cancel a paid order that you have not received, we refund it.
The free taster
Free readings are a sample, offered at our discretion. They are limited per account and capped daily across the service, so they may be unavailable at times. There is no entitlement to a free reading and no compensation if one is not available.
Your data
How we handle your photograph, your email address and everything else is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: your palm photograph is deleted as soon as your reading has been written.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights as a consumer.
Subject to that: because this is an entertainment service, we are not liable for any decision you make, or do not make, on the basis of a reading. We are not liable for business losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any loss that was not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We try to keep the site available but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Prices and packages can change, but never for a reading you have already paid for.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
